Rebuilding a Career: Inam’s Skills Bootcamp

In the vast landscape of professional careers, stories of resilience and determination inspire others. Inam’s story is one of such remarkable journeys. After facing four years of unemployment due to right-to-work constraints, Inam, a professional with over fifteen years of experience in manufacturing, found a new beginning through the intervention of Skills Bootcamp.

The Turning Point: Skills Bootcamp

Referred by Job Centre Plus, Inam embraced the opportunity to attend a Skills Bootcamp designed to rejuvenate his knowledge and prepare him for the competitive manufacturing sector.

Holding a Green Belt Six Sigma and having self-funded his Prince 2 certification, Inam was no stranger to professional development. However, the Skills Bootcamp offered a fresh perspective through the EZeeTutor learning platform. This platform facilitated live workshops and recorded sessions, enabling Inam to engage deeply with the content and diligently complete his assignments.

A Fresh Start

In May 2023, Inam began actively seeking opportunities within the manufacturing industry. His perseverance paid off in April 2024, when a friend referred him to a role as a Building Manager and Quality Assurance Operator at Mangera Yvars Architects. With renewed confidence bolstered by the Skills Bootcamp, Inam refined his CV and sharpened his interview skills, making him a prime candidate. His efforts were rewarded when he successfully secured the job, leading to his relocation to London.
