Get Number Confident” is a tailored programme aimed at enhancing numeracy skills for adults.

Whether you want to get better at managing your bills, budgeting, or supporting your child with their homework – our easy-to-access, Numeracy for Life course has been designed to help you build your confidence in everyday maths. There’s a common misconception that maths skills are something you’re born with, rather than something you learn – but maths skills can be taught and with our maths confidence courses, you will learn maths skills that support your everyday life.

Requirements

This course is government funded, as part of the Multiply Scheme.

You must meet the following criteria to be able to study for free:

  • You must currently live in England
  • You must have been resident in the UK/EU for 3+ years, for purposes other than study
  • You must be over the age of 19
  • Don’t already hold a GCSE at Grade C/4 (or equivalent e.g. Level 2 functional skills)
  • Funding also varies depending on your location.

Where This Will Lead

You can progress on to Functional skills/GCSE maths if you want to improve your skills further.
