Whether you want to get better at managing your bills, budgeting, or supporting your child with their homework – our easy-to-access, Numeracy for Life course has been designed to help you build your confidence in everyday maths. There’s a common misconception that maths skills are something you’re born with, rather than something you learn – but maths skills can be taught and with our maths confidence courses, you will learn maths skills that support your everyday life.
This course is government funded, as part of the Multiply Scheme.

In this course, you will cover a variety of topics related to numbers and their applications in real life. We will begin by reviewing basic addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division using both traditional and alternative methods. Next, we will explore fractions, decimals, and percentages and how they are used in everyday life. You will also learn about finding area and perimeter, as well as special numbers such as square roots and powers. By the end of this course, you should have a good understanding of how to use numbers in practical ways.
