The Level 3 Diploma in Nail Technology is aimed at those learners wishing to develop their practical skills in providing manicure and pedicure treatments and applying and maintaining nail enhancements.
When you have successfully completed this
qualification you will have the opportunity to progress to the following qualifications:

• Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Nail Services Progression opportunities also exist in the
form of specialist related qualifications:
• Level 2 Award in Nail Art
• Level 3 Award in Nail Enhancements and Advanced Hand and Nail Art Techniques.
This qualification may lead directly into
employment in the beauty therapy industry as a junior beauty therapist in a salon or self-employment as a beauty therapist.
On successful completion of this course, you will receive a Level 3 Diploma in Nail Technology Services.
This qualification has been specifically designed to develop your practical skills in applying and maintaining nail enhancements. Students will learn the practical skills for airbrush designs for nails, using electric nails, as well as the application and design of nail art.
Students will also learn underpinning knowledge relating to those technical skills. In addition, students will know how to promote both products and services to salon customers and gain a sound knowledge of health and safety practice in a salon environment.
