Walsall is a market town and administrative centre in the county of West Midlands, and is known as the leather capital of England and the saddle making capital of the world. Historically part of Staffordshire, it is located 8 miles north-west of Birmingham, 6 miles east of Wolverhampton and 9 miles from Lichfield.
